Monte Selva Hotel Spa Termal - Banos (Tungurahua)

The free breakfast was decent and the rooms were mostly clean. The location was convenient for my business meetings as it was close to the city center. , the view from the room was quite lovely, and it was nice to have free Wi-Fi.

The staff was mostly unresponsive and unhelpful. Several times during my stay my colleague and I requested assistance from reception but were met with uninterested and unenthusiastic responses.

Beautiful location surrounded by greenery. Delicious food in the restaurant and friendly staff. the rooms/cabins are spacious, some with amazing views of the city, and equipped with hot water to fully relax after a long day of sightseeing. the on-site amenities such as the spa services and pools are great and provide a range of activities to enjoy after hours.

Due to the setting of some of the cabins/rooms, it can be challenging to reach them, especially for older people or those with mobility issues. the lack of heating in the evenings can make nights chilly and uncomfortable, especially if visiting during colder months.

the walk up to the rooms was calming and offered breathtaking views of the city. My stay included a delicious breakfast and access to both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a sauna and steam room. the hotel was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the spa services were affordable and luxurious, adding to my relaxing experience.

It would have been nice if the swimming pools were larger to accommodate more guests.
